When it comes to choosing the perfect venue, the options are as vast as your imagination. However, if you're looking for a setting that seamlessly blends natural charm, romance, and sophistication, a garden and vineyard style wedding venue might be the perfect choice. Let's explore the perks and advantages that make these venues stand out as the ideal backdrop for your special day.

  1. Scenic Splendor: One of the foremost advantages of opting for a garden and vineyard style wedding venue is the breathtaking scenery. Imagine exchanging your vows amidst lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and the rustic charm of a vineyard. These venues provide a picturesque canvas that captures the essence of romance, creating a magical atmosphere for you and your guests.
  2. Seasonal Beauty: Gardens and vineyards offer a dynamic backdrop that evolves with the seasons. Spring blooms, summer greenery, autumnal hues, and winter serenity – each season brings its own unique charm to these venues. Your wedding photos will reflect the natural beauty of the surroundings, creating a timeless album that captures the essence of your love story.
  3. Intimate and Personalized Settings: Garden and vineyard venues often provide a sense of intimacy and exclusivity. The sprawling landscapes offer various nooks and crannies where you can host different elements of your celebration – from the ceremony in a secluded garden to a reception under the stars in the vineyard. This versatility allows for a personalized and tailor-made experience, making your wedding truly unique.
  4. Versatile Photo Opportunities: With nature as your backdrop, the opportunities for stunning wedding photographs are endless. Whether it's a romantic stroll through the vineyard, a candid moment amidst blooming flowers, or a dreamy sunset kiss, the natural surroundings of garden and vineyard venues serve as the perfect canvas for your photographer to capture those precious memories.
  5. Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Transition: Many garden and vineyard venues offer the luxury of seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. This is especially advantageous in case of unexpected weather changes. Your guests can enjoy the beauty of nature while also having the convenience of covered spaces for various events throughout the day.

In conclusion, a garden and vineyard style wedding venue offers a unique blend of natural beauty, versatility, and intimacy that can transform your special day into a truly unforgettable experience. From the stunning scenery to the personalized settings and culinary delights, these venues provide the perfect backdrop for the celebration of your love. So, if you're dreaming of a wedding that combines elegance with the enchantment of the outdoors, a garden and vineyard venue might just be the key to turning your wedding day into a fairy tale come true.

Unique Idea's for your Wedding

Your wedding day is one of the most special and memorable days of your life. It's a day where you and your partner get to celebrate your love and commitment to one another, surrounded by your loved ones. But with so many weddings taking place, how can you make yours stand out and be unique? In this blog post, we'll explore some tips and ideas on how to make a wedding unique.

  1. Choose a Unique Venue

One of the best ways to make your wedding unique is by choosing a non-traditional venue. Instead of opting for a standard banquet hall, consider hosting your wedding at a unique location such as a museum, library, or art gallery. This can add a touch of personality and creativity to your special day.

  1. Incorporate Personal Touches

Another way to make your wedding unique is by incorporating personal touches throughout the day. This can include everything from customized invitations to personalized centerpieces that showcase your favorite hobbies, interests, and memories as a couple. This will make your wedding feel more intimate and special.

  1. Go for a Unique Theme

Choosing a unique theme is another great way to make your wedding stand out. Consider selecting a theme that represents your personalities or love story, such as a beach-themed wedding if you love the ocean or a vintage-inspired wedding if you have a passion for all things retro. By incorporating a unique theme, you can create a one-of-a-kind experience for your guests.

  1. Add Unconventional Elements

To truly make your wedding unique, consider adding unconventional elements that your guests won't expect. This can include everything from a surprise performance or a non-traditional ceremony format to unexpected entertainment, like a photo booth or lawn games. These elements will make your wedding feel less cookie-cutter and more personalized.

  1. Offer Unique Food and Drinks

Lastly, you can make your wedding unique by offering unique food and drinks. Consider offering a signature cocktail that represents you and your partner or serving up a unique dessert that guests won't find at any other wedding. This will add a special touch to your reception and create a memorable experience for your guests.

In conclusion, making your wedding unique requires a little creativity, personalization, and thinking outside the box. By incorporating these tips and ideas, you can create a one-of-a-kind experience for you and your guests that will be remembered for years to come!

Finley Creek’s wedding barn gets an absolutely stunning floral treatment

The Jamie Wallace-Rob Connors wedding reception at Finley Creek Vineyards was a stunner! The floral and decorating team outdid themselves with gorgeous garlands of flowers and greenery cascading down from the ceiling.

The completed florals received rave reviews by the 200+ reception guests in attendance, and were nicely mirrored by the table centerpieces. The artistic florals definitely showed off the chic exposed barn beams and bones of Finley Creek’s wedding barn.

Cocktails kicked off the evening at 5:30, followed by a sit down dinner from 7 to 8. The bride and groom offered a multitude of food selections for their guests, beginning with butlered hors d’oeuvers on silver trays:

A double-sided chef-manned station served carved Roast
Beef with Horseradish Cream, much to the delight of the couples’ family and friends.

A Salad Station was also on hand with a choice of Fresh House Garden Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette, or Caesar Salad with Focaccia Croutons and Parmesan Reggiano.

A popular station was a do-it-yourself table – the Mash-Tini Bar---
with Idaho Mashed Potato with Creme Fraiche, and any kind of topping you could want, from Scallions, Sour Cream, Au Jus, to Shredded Cheddar, Butter, Bacon, and Blue Cheese.

There were special plates for children, naturally, and plenty of time to present, toast, cut and serve the wedding cake, also draped in flowers.

Guests enjoyed the rest of the evening with music and dancing through 11, with guests enjoying the lovely temperatures outside by the fire pit as well as inside the barn.

A glorious wedding to remember! Congrats, Jamie and Rob!
