If Finley Creek Vineyards, located north on Michigan Road (795 north on US 421) in Boone County, Zionsville, isn’t on your radar screen yet, allow us to introduce you to this charming property.

Not only is it spacious and picturesque, but it allows for both inside and outside celebrating. But perhaps most importantly, it’s the place to welcome mouth-watering Indiana-grown food from an award-winning caterer to your celebration!

Let’s begin with the Wedding Barn. Holding an event at Finley Creek’s rustic, yet completely renovated barn can be as casual or chic and artsy as you want. The barn has high-beamed ceilings festooned with electric lights, draped swag curtains at the tall, airy windows, and ornate crystal chandeliers overhead.

Moving to the lovely treed and wild-flowered grounds of Finley Creek, your celebration can be outside as well as inside, depending on your preferences. Outside, there is a large bricked fireplace and fire pit – great for gatherings of friends. There are also large areas for outdoor seating. Even a lovely arched latticework arbor for weddings and celebrations. So if the temperature dips or rain drips, your guests are covered, literally by heading into the party barn without missing a beat.

As the owner of Finley Creek, Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering is more than up to the task of keeping your party deliciously happy. Jacquie’s sustainably sourced, organic meats and produce are just the beginning. Be prepared to be wowed by her pulled pork sliders, paired with Asian slaw, or Chicken Piccata with Nicoise Olives, or Whole Roasted Tenderloin en croute with Wild Mushroom Duxelle. Every course is exceptional, made from scratch, and served at the ideal temperature (from the state-of-the-art kitchen Jacquie designed herself.)

So whether you go all out or low-key, you can’t go wrong with the perfect pairing of Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering at Finley Creek Vineyards.

Socially distanced celebrations can feel intimate in the right place

Finley Creek Vineyards makes a perfectly cozy and tranquil setting for your romantic elopement or wedding celebration.

Our five acres are sheltered from the rest of Zionsville by rows of fir trees. The property houses an authentic remodeled vintage party barn for inside celebrations and lush, romantic gardens and a private vineyard outside. Inside, outside, or both -- Finley Creek is just the place to hold a socially distanced gathering – that won’t feel like one.

Finley Creek’s barn is lovely and rustic, creating the feeling of stepping back in time. Our catering kitchen, however, is state-of-the-art, having been designed by Jacquie Bols, owner operator of Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering. That means the best of both worlds – in the ‘old’ and in with the ‘new!’

Earlier this season, we planted hundreds of sunflowers to welcome your guests and provide a bright and sunny backdrop for photos.

Dining al fresco is perfect here – under the trees or under the stars. We have several ideal places to stage a band inside or out. There’s an over-sized fireplace and a gazebo on the grounds, too. And if the weather gets iffy, you can always head into the barn where chandeliers cast a lovely glow.

Celebrate formal or casual, with cocktail tables or five-foot round guest tables for full-course sit down dinners. Go low-key (friends and family) or a little larger (up to 280 guests), there is plenty of room for both here.

And since Jacquie Bols is our amazing caterer, everything we serve will be locally and sustainably sourced, farm fresh, and expertly prepared.

So, go intimate or go large, either way, Finley Creek Vineyards has you covered.

As we carefully edge toward establishing a “new normal,” where does that leave you when you have a wedding reception, fundraiser, party, or corporate event to schedule?

One of the safer places to have any kind of event this summer and fall is outside. Social distancing is easier, the air is fresh and clean, and the outdoors provides some of Mother Nature’s freshest, greenest and glorious backdrops.

Finley Creek Vineyards in Zionsville is an idyllic place for weddings and all kinds of special occasions. Besides the rustic Wedding Barn, Finley Creek Vineyards has five expansive acres of tranquil gardens, majestic trees, flowering shrubs, wildflowers, and of course, a vineyard.

It also offers all the luxurious and modern features and style you’d expect from a first class venue. Inside, there is a huge fireplace, chandeliers, reclaimed wood tables, and large windows to let in as much natural light as possible.

Outside, you can go casual or upscale with a wedding arbor, gazebo, stone fireplace, and plenty of room for outdoor seating for ceremonies, receptions and events of all kinds.

And, because Finley Creek Vineyards is owned by Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, you are going to please every guest with plentiful offerings of delicious, sustainably grown/humanely raised, Indiana farm-fresh foods -- from your first appetizer to your last bite of luscious dessert.

Finley Creek’s wedding barn gets an absolutely stunning floral treatment

The Jamie Wallace-Rob Connors wedding reception at Finley Creek Vineyards was a stunner! The floral and decorating team outdid themselves with gorgeous garlands of flowers and greenery cascading down from the ceiling.

The completed florals received rave reviews by the 200+ reception guests in attendance, and were nicely mirrored by the table centerpieces. The artistic florals definitely showed off the chic exposed barn beams and bones of Finley Creek’s wedding barn.

Cocktails kicked off the evening at 5:30, followed by a sit down dinner from 7 to 8. The bride and groom offered a multitude of food selections for their guests, beginning with butlered hors d’oeuvers on silver trays:

A double-sided chef-manned station served carved Roast
Beef with Horseradish Cream, much to the delight of the couples’ family and friends.

A Salad Station was also on hand with a choice of Fresh House Garden Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette, or Caesar Salad with Focaccia Croutons and Parmesan Reggiano.

A popular station was a do-it-yourself table – the Mash-Tini Bar---
with Idaho Mashed Potato with Creme Fraiche, and any kind of topping you could want, from Scallions, Sour Cream, Au Jus, to Shredded Cheddar, Butter, Bacon, and Blue Cheese.

There were special plates for children, naturally, and plenty of time to present, toast, cut and serve the wedding cake, also draped in flowers.

Guests enjoyed the rest of the evening with music and dancing through 11, with guests enjoying the lovely temperatures outside by the fire pit as well as inside the barn.

A glorious wedding to remember! Congrats, Jamie and Rob!
